Support the pritsky.net weather stations and website!

Thank you for clicking on the link.  As you might know, I've been providing Bald Hill and Fletcher weather information (and the Bald Hill Pond webcam) for several years now.  It's a pretty low rent operation, using a couple junker PCs and some moderately outdated weather equipment. It ain't stylish, but it works!

That being said, it does cost some money to do all this. While most of the costs are already sunk, there is a good bit of upkeep required to have the machines limp along, let alone improve the services.  I set all this up because I'm just a geek and love this stuff.  However, if you are interested in helping support the maintenance of the weather stations, so they will always be operational and maybe even get better, there are a few things you can do:

A simple, win-win thing is to buy books from Amazon via this website - you get a book and I get a kickback as an Amazon associate.  If you like weather, let me suggest the book to the left (just click on the cover).  There are also links to other items scattered about the site...
Amazon Honor System Click Here to PayLearn More If you just want to make a donation, you can use Amazon's Honor System.  That's convenient if you're already an Amazon customer - they use your 1-Click settings for payment. Give whatever you feel is appropriate.
You can also make a donation via PayPal. Again, give whatever you feel is appropriate.  If you've never used PayPal before, they will walk you through some simple steps to set up a FREE account.

Fundraising goal (by 8/31/2003): US$50.00
Contributions (as of 7/18/2003): US$51.00

Hey, we just reached the fundraising goal on July 18th!  Thanks very much to everybody who's donated! With your contribution, you are supporting a beautiful little weather station (my Fletcher setup pictured below):

I totally don't want anybody to feel an obligation to contribute, but if you do, thanks very much!  I'm happy to "do the weather" and hope you enjoy it (uh, the service and the weather itself).

Cheers,
